Jos\u00e9 Gervasio Artigas<\/strong>, quien fuese nombrado mucho antes \u201cJefe de los Orientales\u201d y \u201cProtector de los Pueblos Libres\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Luego de 5 a\u00f1os y a pedido popular se repatrian sus restos a nuestro pa\u00eds, en setiembre de 1855.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A su vez, el 23 de setiembre es la fecha elegida, en concordancia con la partida de nuestro pr\u00f3cer, para realizar la solemne ceremonia de incineraci\u00f3n anual de pabellones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Recordamos al Gral.
