Luego, se continu\u00f3 con diez salvas de ca\u00f1\u00f3n por parte de efectivos del Grupo \u00abGral. De Divisi\u00f3n Arq. Alfredo R. nombre de Cosm\u00f3polis, afincamiento de inmigrantes de las m\u00e1s distintas procedencias. Con el paso del tiempo, se ha constituido en un interesante enclave tur\u00edstico con la hist\u00f3rica fortaleza militar, la rambla y la Casa de la P\u00f3lvora, una construcci\u00f3n de fines del siglo XVIII que sirvi\u00f3 de polvor\u00edn militar. A su vez, all\u00ed se encuentra el Museo Militar Fortaleza \u00abGral.
