Jos\u00e9 Gervasio Artigas, quien fuese nombrado mucho antes \u00abJefe de los Orientales\u00bb y \u00abProtector de los Pueblos Libres\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:33px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cb00de85ff317063d552a2f2a747a8a1\">Luego de 5 a\u00f1os y a pedido popular se repatrian sus restos a nuestro pa\u00eds, en setiembre de 1855.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:33px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-275ba6c25e03a799ccca4a2923f8f511\" style=\"background-color:#f0e3b9\">A su vez, el 23 de setiembre es la fecha elegida, en concordancia con la partida de nuestro pr\u00f3cer, para realizar la solemne ceremonia de incineraci\u00f3n anual de Pabellones Nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:33px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f7631da1c12f0fbcb2e9ae6a5d4ea6e9\">Recordamos al Gral.
